Stop the time,
To see the smiles spreading.

Pause the picture,
To appreciate the laughter echoing.

Freeze the frame,

Slow the fall,
To see flashbacks before your eyes.

Rewind the past,
To keep learning from the mistakes.

Forward to the present,
To race among the titans of valour.

So hold the remote,
To take in the essence of life,
To grasp the opportunities falling by,

For present is just a short excerpt of the demeaning past defending the changing future.
